Fire engines from Totnes, Buckfastleigh and Torquay were sent to reports of a barn on fire at the above location.
On arrival crews discovered smoke and flames so requested further fire engines from Paignton and Newton Abbot.
The agricultural building used for general store housing, measuring ten metres by ten metres was fully involved in the fire.
Crews used two 45ml jets to extinguish the fire and thermal imaging cameras to check for hot spots.
There will be two fire engines in attendance with this barn overnight damping down.
The incident is ongoing.
